Today is the 8th anniversary of 9/11. For about five years or so, I made it my practice to pray for the family and friends of victims of 9/11 every time I glanced at a clock and it read 9:11. You’d be surprised how often that happened. I think God was involved in all that. I’m not sure how many other people took time to pray for these people a year or two after it all happened, other than on the anniversary. Today, I’m reminded to pray again that God will let those family members and friends know that although they have lost a loved one, God still loves them and wants them to know him. He cares.
